Chief Executive Officer

Renzo began his law enforcement career as a police officer for the New Jersey Transit Police Department in 2000. In 2001, he transferred to the New Milford Police Department, where he presently serves as a Sergeant in the patrol division.

 

Renzo completed Methods of Instruction in 2003, and has been a New Jersey police training commission-certified instructor at the Bergen County Law & Public Safety Institute since 2005.  Renzo teaches Motor Vehicle Stops, Snipers & Ambushes, Crimes in Progress, and Report Writing. He is a certified instructor and live scenario specialist at the Bergen Country Police Academy and participates as an instructor and live scenario specialist for active-duty law enforcement teams.

 

Renzo has completed the following specialized training; Active Shooter Patrol Officer Tactical Response Train the Trainer Course with the Bergen County Regional Swat Team, Behavioral Threat Assessment Management in a School Environment and Rescue Task Force with the Urban Area Security Initiative, and the School Security Specialist and Comprehensive Active Shooter Incident Management for Schools through the New Jersey Department of Education.

Renzo has completed the following academic degrees:

  • Associate in Applied Sciences Degree in Criminal Justice from Bergen Community College

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Services, with a concentration in Administration of Justice from Thomas Edison State College

  • Master of Arts Degree in Human Resources Training and Development from Seton Hall University

  • Educational Specialist Degree in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy from Seton Hall University

  • Doctor of Education Degree in Educational Leadership, Management and Policy from Seton Hall University

  • Additionally, Renzo possesses an Executive Education Certificate in Public Leadership from the Harvard Kennedy School

  •  In the Spring of 2021, Renzo is scheduled to attend the High Performance Leadership Programme, which is a six-day residency program at the University of Oxford in the United Kingdom.
