Chief Executive Officer
Shelly graduated from Western Michigan University in 1997 with a bachelor's degree in computer information systems and a focus in marketing. Shelly started her career with Stryker Corporation in 1996, supporting sales and marketing. She then transitioned into a new role, implementing a formalized help-desk program and system for Stryker Instruments. Shelly finished her career with Stryker supporting the strategic sales team, Stryker Instruments and Stryker CMF.
In 2000, Shelly left Stryker and began her consulting career with Business Objects S.A. (now owned by SAP) as a technical field consultant. She held a variety of positions while working with Business Objects including Principal Consultant, Training Consultant, Senior Manager of Custom Education, Education Sales Representative, Director of Education Sales and Director of Technical Pre-Sales. Shelly specialized in User Adoption and customized learning solutions.

In 2014, Shelly started her own consulting business, Emery Consulting, which focuses on user adoption services, training, and learning strategy development.

Responsible for organizing pre-conference training for the Americas and EMEA annual user conferences. Each year included a different venue, different courses and different instructors. Responsibilities included managing course selection, promotion of courses, content development and day of execution.

​Key Member of the planning team for "If Only I'd Known" an Opioid Awareness event hosted by Ramsey Juniors with over 300 attendees, over 20 vendors and 5 keynote speakers.

2017-2018 Ramsey Juniors President (local non-profit organization), 2015-2016 Adult Social Co-Chair. Responsibilities included managing the 501(c)(3) organization, board and membership, coordination of events, fundraising, marketing, website and technical tool development.

2019 - present L.E.A.D. (Law Enforcement Against Drugs) Coordinator. Responsibilities include supporting the primary L.E.A.D. Training Police Officer and program through assistance in planning and execution of events. Responsible for rebuilding and maintaining the Ramsey based L.E.A.D. website.
