Mutual Liability Release
Acknowledgement Risk
P3 Training Group (“P3,” “we,” “us,” “our”) provides training, coaching, consulting, and educational services that may include eLearning, in-person instruction, workshops, and scenario-based exercises (collectively, the “Services”).
By registering for, purchasing, accessing, or participating in any Services, you (“Participant”) acknowledge and agree to the following:
1. Acknowledgement of Services
Participant understands that Services may include content and activities designed to improve situational awareness, communication, de-escalation, crisis response, and related workplace readiness skills.
Depending on the service format, activities may include:

scenario-based role play and simulations
-
elevated or realistic verbal intensity (e.g., raised voices)
-
sudden or loud noises (where applicable)
-
emotionally stressful or realistic conflict dynamics
Participant understands that these activities may be uncomfortable or triggering for some individuals.
2. Voluntary Participation and Personal Readiness
Participant acknowledges that:

Participation is voluntary.

Participant is responsible for determining whether participation is appropriate based on their personal physical, emotional, or psychological condition.

Participants will monitor their own well-being during Services and may pause, step away, or discontinue participation at any time.

Participants will notify the instructor or facilitator if they need support or a break during in-person or live sessions.
3. Assumption of Risk
Participant understands that participation may involve risks, including but not limited to emotional distress, anxiety, physical discomfort, or other effects. Participant voluntarily assumes all risks arising from participation in the Services, whether foreseeable or not.
4. Release of Liability and Hold Harmless
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Participant agrees to release, waive, and hold harmless P3, its affiliates, and their respective owners, officers, employees, contractors, volunteers, agents, and representatives from any and all claims, demands, damages, losses, or liabilities arising out of or related to participation in the Services, including claims for physical injury, emotional distress, illness, or property damage.
This release applies regardless of cause, including claims alleging negligence, except where prohibited by law.
5. Safety and Conduct Expectations
Participant agrees to follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by P3 or the hosting organization during in-person or live Services. Participant understands that P3 may remove or discontinue participation for any individual whose conduct is unsafe, disruptive, or violates instructions.
6. Prohibited Item (In-Person Services)
For any in-person Services, Participant agrees not to bring weapons into the training environment, including but not limited to firearms, tasers, knives, pepper spray, or similar items. If Participant arrives with such an item, Participant agrees to secure it offsite (e.g., locked in a vehicle) and/or immediately notify P3 staff for guidance.
6. Prohibited Item (In-Person Services)
For any in-person Services, Participant agrees not to bring weapons into the training environment, including but not limited to firearms, tasers, knives, pepper spray, or similar items. If Participant arrives with such an item, Participant agrees to secure it offsite (e.g., locked in a vehicle) and/or immediately notify P3 staff for guidance.
7. Electronic Agreement
This waiver may be accepted electronically (including via a website form, the checkout process, TalentLMS, or a digital acknowledgment). Participant agrees that electronic acceptance constitutes a legally binding signature.
